Another busy sterilization campaign took place on March 26
On Sunday, March 26, we sterilized 77 dogs and cats in Colonia Santa Fe. Because the number of pet owners hoping to receive the service exceeded the number we could sterilize in a single day, we have scheduled another campaign at the same location for April 9. Read more

The focus of our education program
In our Teaching Children Compassion for Animals program, we hope to improve children’s awareness that they and their pets share many characteristics and have many of the same needs. Read more

How to prepare for and what to expect at a sterilization campaign
We start registering animals in our campaigns at 9 a.m. You should arrive early and be prepared to wait, as there is a great deal of demand for this service. We can usually handle 60-80 cases per day, depending upon the number of surgeons available. Read more

Now we’re giving bimonthly interviews on Channel 8
The host of “Despierta Guanajuato,” local television Channel 8’s morning program, has invited us to give an interview on the first and third Thursday of each month. The interviews focus on our activities and animals’ welfare. Read more

Antonia López Palacios, a retired preschool teacher, and Kathya Amaya, a communication specialist, have teamed up to head our new program, Teaching Children Compassion for Animals. Read more

We sterilized another 19 dogs and 6 cats on March 12
At a mini-campaign on March 12 we sterilized 11 female dogs, 8 male dogs, 1 female cat, and 5 male cats in the Valle de San José subdivision. Dr. Ricardo Montes de Oca performed the surgeries with assistance from four veterinary students. Read more
