TTT’s preholiday reopening was a blast

Terri Rasmussen reopened her Tiny Tiendita over the weekend of October 11–13, selling colorful and imaginative gifts perfect for the approaching holiday season. Kitchen utensils, hats and other accessories, costume jewelry, ceramics and glassware, baskets, and woven handbags are just some of the items featured. Many of the gifts have animal themes. Visiting the shop is a lot of fun, and all Terri’s proceeds are donated to Amigos.

The weekend sale netted upward of $12,000 mxp (US $600) for our program. We are applying the donation toward the purchase of a newer van, which is badly needed for our sterilization campaigns.

If you missed the event, you can visit the store on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. or call Terri at 473 731 0674 for an appointment. Terri also will be selling her merchandise at our Christmas Market in the centro on December 1, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The exact location will be announced as soon as we receive our permit from the city government.
