Those of you who participated in our auction on August 22–24—as donors, bidders, or both—already know how exciting and successful it was. For those who could not participate, we’re happy to report that it reached 110% of our revised upward goal, or $7,148.83, by the time it ended shortly after 9 p.m. last Sunday night.
These new funds will be used to support our sterilization and education programs, shown in photographic detail in the following article. Those programs are focused on sparing companion animals in Guanajuato lives of misery and neglect.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the auction’s success, specifically
- Our auction planning committee, consisting of Liz Carranza, John Denissen, Jann Lee, Gabo Ramírez, Terri Rasmussen, Suzy Thompson, and Sandra Ward.
- Our generous prize donors, who are shown, along with their prizes, on the auction website: 32auctions.com/amigos2025. Have a look; it’s an impressive group!

- And all of you who bid on our auction prizes or made donations in support on the auction.
Thank you again!
