Our Christmas Market is coming on December 7

Mark December 7 on your calendars! We’re welcoming the holiday season with our annual Christmas Market that Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm in Plaza Allende. This is your opportunity to buy many delicious holiday foods that are not available anywhere else in the city, prepared under the supervision of Chef Susan Pataky. Featured are traditional Canadian and American treats as well as Mexican favorites. 100% of the income will support Amigos de Los Animales.

And you don’t have to wait until December 7 to place your order and make your holiday hosting a cinch!  You can order cakes, cookies, dips, dinner items, and other holiday favorites now here. Prices are in pesos. Please pay in cash when you pick up your order.

This year we are offering three convenient options for receiving your purchases:

  • Pick up at Susan and Endre Pataky’s house (Camino Real #36 y Boulevard Guanajuato),
  • Pick up at the Market on December 7, 10am – 3pm at Plaza Allende, and
  • Free delivery of orders over 1000 pesos within the city of Guanajuato.

Send a WhatsApp to Susan at +52 473 119 2064 to arrange your delivery or pickup.

All sales will go toward helping the animals of Guanajuato live happier, healthier lives.

Our sincere thanks to Chef Susan and her team of Amigos volunteers, who have been preparing these mouth-watering items for the Christmas Market, just a few of which are identified here.

Our grateful thanks to Susan for organizing the preparation of all these food items. Thanks also to Susan and Endre Pataky for raising the funds to buy the ingredients. They did this by hosting an Italian-themed party at their home last June. Their generosity makes the funds raised by the Christmas Market pure profit for Amigos.

We thank all the volunteers who have been helping Susan with the baking and cooking: Dyan Amirault, Margo Buschek, Rosemarie Conde, Martha Deutsch, Celise Ingram, Kimberli Isaacs, Deb Kallen, Jann Lee, Joslyn Lewis, Beth Lozano, Sue Meyers, Fawn Potash, Rob Prow, Kris Santiago, Maureen Steltman, Lewis Stess, Victoria Wagner, and Sandra Ward.
