If you’re a regular reader of our newsletter, you’re familiar with our sterilization campaigns and our children’s educational activities. Here, instead of another description, are photos of our recent events and posts. As one photo indicates, it’s the rainy season.
Four sterilization campaigns, 263 cases
Our sterilization campaigns took place in the subdivision of Manantial on July 13, the village of La Trinidad on July 27, the city park El Encino on August 10, and the city neighborhood Cerro de Los Leones on August 24. We sterilized 113 animals in July and 150 animals in August.

We also thank Nan Niemala and the Ramírez Porras family for hosting the campaigns on July 27 and August 24, and for serving lunch to those volunteers.
Children’s education events
Our two teachers, Tony López and Julia Salido, assisted by Mía del Angel, Adhán Mata López, and Valentina Paz López Cervantes, gave creative lessons about animal care to 250 children who participated in summer courses at various locations during their summer break from school. The children’s ages ranged from 5 to 15.
The courses took place at Granja la Esperanza on July 18, El Encino on July 23 and July 30, Loto Estudio in Sangre de Cristo on July 29, Escuela de Artes y Oficios on August 1 and 5, Museo Iconográfico on August 11, Salón de Fiestas in Punta del Sur on August 12, the Library at El Ensino on August 13, and Manantial on August 22. Here are photos of several of the courses. Our grateful thanks to our education team for their dedication to this program.
