We sterilized 161 animals in March, 60 in the village of Cajones on March 9 and 101 at the Centro de Convivencia Familiar El Encino in the city on the 23rd. To date we’ve sterilized 458 dogs and cats this year. Read more
February 16 marked our 23rd anniversary, and we celebrated it in Carnival style. Thanks to you, our many friends, the event raised $113,417 pesos (US $5,586) for our sterilization and education program. Read more

We began the year with a teaching event and two sterilization campaigns. Two new messages appeared on the backs of two city buses, and our Facebook and Instagram accounts displayed six new messages. Read more

Our friend Sue Parry gave her annual Boxing Day party on December 26. The party was of course festive, with lots of good food, live music, and cheerful people. It also included a raffle and an auction of many wonderful prizes that were donated to support Amigos de los Animales. Read more
Thanks to you, our volunteers and shoppers, the Christmas Market was a huge success, topping previous years’ sales by significant amounts. In addition, Terri Rasmussen held a Christmas sale for our benefit at her Tiny Tiendita on December 2, increasing our holiday income even more. Read more
