Our annual Christmas Market will be held tomorrow at Plaza Allende in front of Bar Fly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. On sale there will be holiday cookies, cakes, and other delicious foods prepared by Amigos volunteers under the expert direction of chef Susan Pataky.
Susan has generously donated even the ingredients for the food items, which she bought with the proceeds of an auction she held at her last birthday to support Amigos. All proceeds of the sales tomorrow will be used to support our program of spay/neuter and education.
Shown below are just a few of the items that will be available at the Christmas Market.
Next to our tables you’ll find many wonderful, unusual gift items offered by Terri Rasmussen from Terri’s Tiny Tiendita. As a former buyer for several retail businesses, she has an expert eye for attractive crafts and knows how to find them. Terri donates all her profits to Amigos.
So, you can avoid Amazon this year by shopping for friends and family right here.
Our enthusiastic thanks to Susan Pataky and her team of volunteer cooks: Margo Buschek, Mary Beth Canavan, Kimberly Davis, Martha Deutsch, Siwsan Gimprich, Celise Ingram, Kimberly Issac, Sarah Kullah, Joslyn Lewis, Ken Linn, Beth Lozano, Paul Marcoux, Sue Meyers, Joyce Neikirk, Cindi Pohl, Janis Pope, Terri Rasmussen, Maureen Steltman, Lewis Stress, Marilyn Syverson, Solidad Torres-Brown, Sandra Ward y José Zavala.
