September was a busy campaign month

During September we held three sterilization campaigns—in Puentecillas La Presita on September 3 (88 animals), in Cerro de Cuarto on September 10 (57 animals), and in Puentecillas on September 24 (70 animals). Altogether, we sterilized 215 animals during the month, 97 female dogs, 26 male dogs, 57 female cats, and 35 male cats.

All the campaigns ran smoothly, thanks to our wonderful team of surgeons and volunteers (see their names below). The campaign in Puentecillas La Presita was a long day, given the large number of animals. In Cerro del Cuarto we had an unusually large number of cats, including five feral cats that had to go to the head of the line, given their distress at being confined to a box. In Puentecillas we had a larger than usual number of male cats and dogs.
